Holiday Cottage, Bledington, Oxfordshire

Overview

The brief for this project was to provide a holiday rental cottage with two en-suite bedrooms and more living space on the ground floor.

To achieve this the interior of the house was completely remodelled with a new central staircase, an open plan living room and kitchen connected to a new garden room extension in oak frame with a zinc roof, built into the raised garden to the rear.

The attic floor structure was replaced and raised to provide a more comfortable headroom in the first floor bedrooms and enough height for showers in both en-suite bathrooms.

The clients are looking forward to many contend holiday makers using the building in the years to come.
