Overview

The brief for this project was to completely re-order the rear of the property to provide an open-plan living space and kitchen with a contemporary style on the ground floor and by removing a chimney stack create more space in the first floor areas to the rear and form a Master bedroom suite with dressing room and walk-in shower room.

The key to cresting the sense of space was to remove all the internal ground floor masonry structures and replace them with a steel frame which combined with side and rear extensions with planar glass rooflights and a fully folding glass screen wall to the rear has created a much more light and open space with direct flow into the garden.
